Background information

Henry MARGETTS, son of William and Mary MARGETTS, grocer of Deddington, was born 29 May 1828 in Deddington.

He had several occupations during his life and was proprietor of the Three Horse Shoes in Deddington (which is now a private residence).

He was married to Eliza TOMES in Leamington Priors, Warwickshire. They had 12 children of whom 9 survived to adulthood.

Henry died on the 20 December 1883 and was buried four days later in Banbury.
