Background information

Florence Emma BENNELL was the eldest daughter of Henry and Esther BENNELL. Florrie, as she was known, was born in Stokenchurch on 29 May 1888 and was in service for most of her working life. She travelled extensively with the family she worked with; I am unsure of her role, but I have the impression she was a companion of some description.

Florrie married on 9 Jan 1943 - same day and place as her brother Ken, to Percy LEWIS. She died approximately April 1972.
