Background information

Oscar Thomas BEDWIN was born in Radford, Oxon on 4th October 1854 at Radford and lived there until he was about 7 years old. He and his family then moved to Chipping Norton, where he lived for the rest of his life.

On 4th October 1886, he married Emma Jane STEPTOW at St John’s Catholic Church, Hackney, London. Their son Oscar Bernard became a train driver on Merseyside.

Oscar Thomas BEDWIN died on 19th April 1901 at 56 Rock Hill, Chipping Norton.
