Background information

Alfred and Annie had seven children: Dorothy G, Florence, Ethel, Alfred (younger), Hilda, Violet and Elsie.

The CLINKARD family have lived in and around Garsington, Oxfordshire, since the 1540s.  During the First World War they lived at Burwell Farm, Curbridge, Witney, Oxfordshire. The farmhouse is still there but the fields are now a housing estate.
